Town of Acton - Official government website for Acton Acton, Mass. Town Website - A commerce and resident-oriented website for Acton Linda Greene's Acton and Minuteman website - a fantastic site for those with an interest in the lineage of the Minutemen, the history of Acton and it's old buildings and families, the actual line of march taken by the Minutemen on April 19th, 1775, and much more. A great site. Acton Historical Society - A precious resource connecting Acton to its past. The AHS owns and operates the historic Hosmer House and Jenks Library Iron Work Farm - Acton's "other" historical society, they actually own and operate the Faulkner Homestead and Jones' Tavern, both in South Acton. Iron Work Farm was the original name of the area we now know as South Acton. We work closely with IWF on a number of things during the year Acton's Boyscout Troop 1 - The Troop 1 Boyscouts first marched the Isaac Davis Trail in 1957. Today, the trail march and Camporee is maintained by the Scouters of the Isaac Davis Trail. We appreciate and support them all. Check out Troop 1's website here, where you will find information about the Trail and the Camporee. Acton Minutemen homepage |
